Epigenetics, Drug Use, and Social Isolation

Paige Lemen, a current PhD student, educated us about social determinants of health and health disparities, specifically related to substance/drug use and social isolation. We also peel back layers of onion of academia and discuss how scientists have failed to communicate recent findings in a compelling way with the public.
